everytime i read a mitch albom book
i flood the room
sometimes things really hit me
like how what he says applies to all of us
and that these are the things we dont see
due to the bustle of the events happening.

what is truly important?
how much money you make in your lifetime?
how many assets you leave behind after you pass away?
or the bits and pieces you accumulate
the letters from friends
the little stuffed toys you sleep with
the favorite raggedy shirts
the pictures of you with your face in cake
the random slips of paper you pass around in class

reading this book makes me so homesick
not sick for this home
but for my lotus garden back there
for my grandparents
for quality family time
instead of rushing to and from school
rushing this tutorial that essay
doing this report going for that event
but missing out instead on time
to stop slowdown and just enjoy
the precious moments with family.
what would you miss most?
probably you wont find out until its too late.

i really love each and every one of our members
who put in so much
even though the turnout was so abysmal
also REALLY thanks to the performers from art of music and Gefang!

i have 1001 complaints
and 1002 things to emo about
but thats over.
and im really glad for all these people who showed me love(:

parents willing to support me

its not difficult to get into university,
my family is great
and i have great friends
