hiatus

been writing so much
that i dont want to blog anymore
writing the essay again and again
writing out points again and again
tho interesting but still tiring.
the first hurdle is over
but the next one looks ever higher
wonders if i ll be able to clear that
with my short legs and innate inability to jump.

hvnt blogged since that short thingy after i realized lou sings
hmm lets see what has happened these few days.

my essay.
haha everything i do
it revolves around my essay
after i handed in my first draft last night,
this morn i went to doodle somemore
(on macs paper no less)
about my idea and my thesis.

sigh okay lets start with fri
went for the writing centre consult
and the guy s name is darren
he seemed quite nice
and helped me clear up my ideas into a v concise mindmap
gave me different insights
but he seemed quite sorry that he wasnt able to help me with the motive and thesis much
cuz we both got caught in the mud
but its okay(:
his ideas laid basis for my thesis in the end
(which is kind of different)
AH i bet dr don is crying while reading my essay
cuz i was (almost) crying when i was writing it.

woke uber early on sat morn
to go farrer park for Ultimate Freezebee volunteers trng
and it was the site of the Singapore Open or sth
had people from different countries competing
(got hot guys! lol)
so we were there to learn basic skills and also to watch abit of the official type of games.
the field TOTALLY ruined my fav pair of shoes ROWR
its like now brown instead of white??? hurrmph.
went to Mcdonalds to "discuss" details of our carnival.
oh wells ended up playing random weird games with weizhen jennjiang thane jonathan

yingxian was doing *** stuff for the championships luh
so poor thing
basically did nothing for like hours on end haha.
but i did work on my thesis!!!
buried under tonnes of evidence from AIT
and hundreds of ideas i have no idea (ironic)
how to fit into a thesis and how to support it.
sigh left earlier to go home and mug essay
so started my sit-down-and-mug session
lasted from like 5 to like 1130? haha
the last half an hour was like a formatting frenzy.
but at least managed to get it in on time(:
first hurdle crossed!
2nd to come almost immediately sigh.

after that (means after 12 alr)
talked about prog with mr ng for awhile.
bathed (lol sorry im a dirty pig
BUT only this once cuz the ESSAY is so much more IMPT!)
then was going to settle down to slp

and somewhere in this story i lost more face.
sigh dont even ask about it.

we ended up at NUS fong sheng for supper
(even tho xiaohui brushed teeth, she still ate!
wah super shang lian lol)
130 am in the morning
thereafter we went to NTU hahahha
sad we missed out SMU (kidding)
but had a great time(:
eating roti prata at 2 am
+ singing in the car
= sore throat
i woke up and almost couldnt talk this morn luh
but whee still worth it(:

that outing really took my mind off my worries about my essay
cuz it was so refreshing to be out
when its all dark
while and foggy cuz of all the incense people burn

rushed thru the marking
and made my way to parkway
across the country leh wadde
but basically dint get much done as well
cuz of our 3 musketeers + our dear weizhen.
at least i read thru 2 chapters of genetics.

woke up with a jolt this morn

mentally runs through timetable.
oh today s saturday.
and ECP is cancelled.

or freshie panic syndrome (henceforth known as FPS)
hmm but UPS sounds better right
undergrad panic syndrome.
im guessing it ll get worse if im overseas alone with 6 years in front of me.
great.
i can only guess at how lonely i ll be.

thot i was going to be plunged into a horrendously filled weekend

as monkey or as the person to zham for icebreakers
we dint even play icebreakers
just monkey
and i was monkey 99.9% of the time

haha i find i get along better with people younger than me
with them i find that i can hmm relax and do whatever i want
